Granular cell tumor, also called Abrikossoff tumor or granular cell myoblastoma, is a rare neoplasm that usually appears between the second and sixth decade of life, predominantly in women. In this section we present a 55-year-old female patient, who presents an increase in volume in the right parotid region of 3 years of evolution. On physical examination, an increase in volume in the right parotid region of approximately 3.3 cm is observed, to which puncture-fine needle aspiration of the lesion, which reports: fibroma. For this reason, she is taken to the operating table where oncological resection of the right parotid gland is performed where the histopathological results conclude as a granular cell tumor, reported in the literature as a rare entity and even more so located in the parotid gland, with an incidence 45-65% in the head and neck area. It usually appears as a solitary, asymptomatic, well-defined, non-inflammatory nodule, smaller than two centimeters. Our patient remained in this range, presenting a slight increase in the size of the lesion described in the literature.
