Endoscopy has been increasingly used in neurosurgery. This study aims to evaluate the experience in the use of neuroendoscope in the treatment of brain pathology at the La Trinidad Teaching Medical Center during the last 5 years, in order to describe the clinical and functional results, advantages and technical challenges associated with this technique. Methods: Retrospective observational study, the sample was made up of 38 patients who have been operated on with a neuroendoscope for the treatment of brain pathology at the La Trinidad Medical Teaching Center during the last 5 years. Results: The sample was represented by 38 patients who met the inclusion criteria, taking into account age, sex, brain pathology treated, surgical technique, procedure time and presence of complications, as well as clinical improvement and postoperative functional results. Documented postoperative complications are 29%, of which the most frequent cause was hormonal alterations (11.4%). Conclusions: The use of endoscopy as a complementary tool in neurosurgery has been gaining more and more strength, which is why our center remains at the forefront with the use of this technique, with a high success rate and low risk of complications. , similar to previous publications.
