The epidemiological, clinical, radiological characteristics and their relationship with the adverse effects of the fillers in patients who attended magnetic resonances of the pelvis and buttocks in the Radiology Service of the Teaching Medical Center La Trinidad from 2016 to 2021 were collected. Out of a total of 850 pelvic studies and 41 buttock studies; 93 studies demonstrated the presence of filler material (10.4%). 50% of positive studies had migration to the ischiorectal fossa and 87% had muscle infiltration, mostly to the gluteus maximus. It was possible to survey 24 patients who agreed to be part of the study. According to their reports: expansive cells material was the most frequently used substance, with a volume of 500 cc in total. A statistically significant relationship between the variables of placement time and the presence of material migration was demonstrated using X2. A larger sample size is required to establish correlations with greater statistical power.
