SARS CoV-2 infection during pregnancy represents a potentially vulnerable entity for the occurrence of complications that can affect the health and well-being of the mother-fetus binomial, however, infection by this virus continues to be studied by the various forms of expression that it has manifested since its inception. This research work consists of a retrospective review of confirmed cases of SARS CoV-2 infection during pregnancy, in patients controlled in the Gynecology and Obstetrics service of Centro Medico Docente La Trinidad from the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020 until August 2022. Among the complications that the patients developed, hypertensive disorder in pregnancy and iatrogenic prematurity were observed. Patients receiving vaccines had fewer complications than unvaccinated patients. One case of death related to voluntary discontinuation of anticoagulant therapy was recorded. Although the data are not statistically significant given the sample size, larger sample studies should be continued.
