The implementation of new technologies and didactic strategies make up a novel pillar in teaching strategies to optimize learning and practical use of the knowledge imparted. These principles do not escape the possible strategies used in medicine, being an explorable area in the learning of emergency radiology by medical personnel to improve the diagnosis of different pathologies and their effective treatment. At the Centro Medico Docente la Trnidad (CMDLT), the new initiative to promote education through this type of tool was formed from the radiology and imaging postgraduate service, in order to implement education on medical personnel dedicated to hospitalization and emergency care at our center. Didactic talks were raised with the use of playful tools to improve the problem-solving capacity and thus promote interactive learning with incentive prizes. In the final scenario, inter-participant competition was promoted and different tasks associated with solving emergency radiology problems were delegated to strengthen knowledge. In the project, the study of the qualitative experiences and the appreciation of the participants about the importance, functionality and taste of the program was proposed, the results of which were submitted to a statistical study that demonstrated that gamification could significantly change the appreciation on the importance and fundamentals of basic radiology in emergency.
