Trismus can be defined as a condition that is generated by multiple causes such as head and neck cancer that is treated by surgery and radiotherapy, characterized by functional limitation of the jaw. Their treatment is fundamentally physiotherapy, where they apply what they call active exercises and passive exercises. The main objective is to limit the closure of the mouth opening. OBJECTIVE: Our objective was to ensure that the patient had the possibility of acquiring a device so as not to delay the start of physiotherapy, at a non-significant cost. METHOD: To carry out the project, we began by designing and evaluating the possibilities of manufacturing a device to offer to the patient. RESULTS: It was found that the feasibility of manufacturing said device had no drawbacks and it was possible to obtain said functional device. CONCLUSION: It is an option to manufacture the Trismodent device in Venezuela to offer patients with trismus condition.
